
Secondary Support Teaching Assistant



Newhouse Academy are seeking to recruit a Teaching and Learning Intervention Lead - Level 4 (Numeracy and Medical).
We openly encourage you to make an appointment to come in and have a look round, meet the team and discuss the role. Your visit would include a tour of the new school building which opened in September 2024 and houses our SEN department.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has a real desire to help our students achieve all that they can
- Has experience working in an educational setting with students aged 11-16
- Has experience leading interventions
- Demonstrates a flexible approach to their duties
- Is confident and proactive
- Enjoys working as a team
- Has excellent organisational skills
- Has values in line with the academy priorities of Aspiration, Integrity and Respect

Hours: 37 hours per week - TTO
Salary: NJC Grade 6 Scale Point Range Points 19 to 24. Starting scale point is dependent on experience.
Actual salary £26,447 to £29,211
Contract type: Permanent
Start date: As soon as possible (upon receipt of satisfactory pre employment checks)
